Buy for the Google step, plan for what follows

Google: decide before you pay
Which Google task can a new SMSTempo activation address?
Only a task where Google permits the offered new number and sends an SMS to it during the active order. It cannot receive a recovery code addressed to an existing linked phone.
Start with the time you need
One SMS can complete an immediate step only when Google offers SMS to a new number and accepts the assigned line. If your account will need the same phone on a later login, choose a number you can retain. If a code is addressed to a number already attached to an account, a new activation cannot receive that old number’s message.
Read the exact Google challenge
A code addressed to an existing recovery phone cannot be redirected to a new SMSTempo number. For a current account, Google may instead offer a prompt on an eligible signed-in device, another configured phone or backup method. Use the alternatives shown for your account before treating a new SMS activation as the only route.
Google also limits certain phone uses for verification. An error saying the number cannot be used or has been used too many times is a platform decision. Waiting longer on the same number does not change that decision.
For a new-number step, compare the country
If Google actually invites you to enter a new phone, choose Google and the permitted country in the SMSTempo directory. Follow Google’s country field and international digits; a separate country selector may already contain the prefix. The chosen country alone does not establish that Google will accept the eventual supplier line.
A service-country listing is not live stock. Review the current offer for the exact pair in your dashboard, including price and quantity, before confirming. Add passes the selection forward but does not charge account balance.
One attempt in the active window
After a successful assignment, the order shows the number and actual expiry. Enter that number into the Google flow that requested a new one, ask Google to send the SMS and watch the order’s SMS tab. If Google refuses the number before sending, stop and follow its message rather than diagnosing an absent text.
If Google says it sent a code, verify the country and digits against the assigned order. An unanswered expiry or an eligible cancellation can return the activation charge to account balance under the order policy; it cannot complete the Google challenge.
Recovery must outlive one activation
A Google account may ask for verification again long after a temporary SMS order closes. Use a recovery phone, email or other Google-supported method that you can retain. A one-time number is particularly unsuitable as the sole route back into an important account. Review those settings while signed in, before a lost-device event forces a recovery flow.

What does “used too many times” mean?
Google limits some phone-number use for verification; follow its specific error.
Can Google send a prompt instead of SMS?
Yes. An eligible signed-in device may receive a Google prompt.
Can a new number receive a code to my old recovery phone?
No. Use Google’s available account-recovery methods.
Is the minimum top-up the code price?
No. Funding adds account credit; the activation has its own current quote.
What if Google rejects the number instantly?
That is not a delivery delay. Use Google’s error guidance before another order.
