Buy for the Instagram step, plan for what follows

Instagram: decide before you pay
Can a short Instagram activation replace my existing recovery phone?
A new activation cannot receive texts sent to the old phone. Consider it only for an allowed new-number step and choose retained access if that number must serve as a future recovery contact.
Start with the time you need
One SMS can complete an immediate step only when Instagram offers SMS to a new number and accepts the assigned line. If your account will need the same phone on a later login, choose a number you can retain. If a code is addressed to a number already attached to an account, a new activation cannot receive that old number’s message.
Find the destination before buying
A login or two-factor code sent to a phone already associated with your Instagram account cannot be intercepted by a new activation. Use Instagram’s displayed alternatives or its official recovery path. A new number helps only in a flow that lets you enter and confirm that number.
Meta’s Instagram safety guidance describes phone and authenticator options and recommends keeping recovery contacts current. The code method offered on your screen reflects your account settings, not what appears in the SMSTempo directory.
Compare the country for a new-number step
When Instagram asks for a new phone, choose Instagram in the SMSTempo directory and set the country allowed by the form. Check both the country name and dial code; some prefixes are shared. Follow the form’s entry instructions, especially if the country selector already supplies the prefix.
A listing is a starting point, not stock. Add opens a fresh offer in your dashboard. Confirm only after reviewing current availability and the order price for that exact pair. The minimum account deposit is separate credit, not the cost of one Instagram code.
Watch the active order
After assignment, the dashboard displays the number and expiry. Enter that number only on the Instagram screen that accepts a new phone and request its SMS. Watch the SMSTempo SMS tab while the order is active. A message appearing on an order means it arrived there; Instagram decides whether the code completes the account action.
If Instagram rejects the number immediately, follow its message. If it reports sending a code, check the entered digits and country against the order before repeating a request.
Plan beyond this login
Instagram’s account-access help says loss of a linked email or phone can make recovery difficult. Update your account to a phone or email you can keep while you still have access. A one-time order expires and cannot promise another code on that same number later. If the order ends unanswered, review its final state and any eligible account credit before another purchase.

No. That code is addressed to the phone already on the account.
